The 10th meeting of the European Platform for Roma Inclusion arranged by DIRECTORATE-GENERAL JUSTICE and CONSUMERS of EUROPEAN COMMISSION was held on 29-30 November 2016 in Brussels.

Since 2011, many steps forward have been made. Through the concerted action of the

European Commission and other European institutions and the Member States, Roma

inclusion has been put firmly on the political agenda of both the EU and Member States.

The thematic focus of this year Platform has been elaborated after a broad consultation

with various stakeholders through an online survey. This platform gives us the

opportunity to reflect together on how to deepen the implementation of Roma integration

policies; looking in particular at the mutual accountability of all relevant stakeholders.
